So, I've been meaning to journal about some books I've read recently. Here you go.

The first I'd like to talk about is Looking For Alaska by John Green. Oh dear JESUS was this book awesome!!! It started slow, but it was amazing. I went from laughing to crying in a matter of 3 minutes. But it was good crying, haha. An overview: It's about this kid named Miles who moves from Florida to Alabama to go to this boarding school. And he makes friends with his room-mate, who isn't one of the best of kids and Chip (the room-mate) introduces him to Alaska Young. She's pretty, intelligent, and perfect. Then some shit happens that I can't tell you about unless you read the book. ITS AWESOME.

The next thing I'd like to chat about is my favorite author, Scott Westerfeld. I've read almost all his books and fell in love with each of them. He's brilliant, I tell you. READ ALL HIS BOOKS. I'm reading Leviathan by him right now. It's his new book, just came out two weeks ago or so. It's about World War One. Yus.

Speaking of Mr. Westerfeld, I met him. Best fucking day ever! He was really nice, signed my books. I told him he was my favorite author. He said thanks. I told him he was brilliant. He said thanks. There was a lot of thanking going on. Then he told me how he got the idea for Midnighters. Sitting here now, there's so much more I wanted to ask him but couldn't think of at the time. I'm kicking myself. Maybe when the sequel to Leviathan comes out, I'll go again and tell him how much I worship the ground he walks on.

Okay, not really. But he is brilliant.

And I got two pictures with him. It was bitchin'. And the girl he was with, Robin Wasserman, she was cool. She actually tweeted me back when I tweeted to her. I was in pure amazement. She signed my book, too. I never finished it, but she'll never know...unless she stumbles over here and reads this...
